Black Mamba Opal Cuff

$575.00

This is a heavy Sterling silver cuff crafted from a Zuni Indian motif taken from a woven sash. The native Zuni Indians, are an American Indian tribe, thought by the Spanish to inhabit the “Seven Cities of Cibola”, in western New Mexico.  Zuni silversmithing combines intricate designs in sterling silver, coral, turquoise, bone, and other gemstones.  This intricate design is highlighted by the contrast between the polished silver and the blacked silver in the depressions. This is one of my favorite cuffs it represents a great deal of work and historical heritage.
